CBD organises BIOFIN-supported experts meeting in Mexico to review emerging methodologies for identifying and tracking biodiversity related investments (5-7 May 2015)

The workshop is being organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, in close cooperation with the UNDP-managed Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN). It will be hosted by the Government of Mexico from 5-7 May 2015, with financial support provided by the European Union. It brings together experts from around the world to review current approaches on identifying, accessing, compiling and aggregating domestic and international biodiversity-related investments and impacts
 
In order to assist the workshop in its deliberations, a wide range of materials was reviewed, with support provided by global BIOFIN team. The workshop will help to prepare an overview report that is to include succinct summaries of pertinent methodologies and approaches, based on input from Parties as well as relevant partners.
