4.3 reporting and outreach

The BER should be able to answer the questions outlined in the objectives (Section 4.1.1) and at minimum include the basic data and analysis suggested in Box 4.7. The BER should help policymakers understand the general trends in biodiversity expenditures and their future consequences. The output is a comprehensive report (suggested outline below) accompanied by spreadsheets with original data and calculations. Additional outputs include short reports, policy briefs and the formulation of key messages. The latter can be used for policy advocacy, communication and as an input to the BFP (Chapter 6).
